Confirm why the payment detail needs changing
Replace a saved method because the old one is no longer valid or because your own details have changed, not because an unknown message tells you to use a different destination.

Enter the new detail slowly
A UPI ID or account number can be valid in format while still belonging to the wrong destination. Read every field again before submission and check the displayed account-holder name when the system provides it.
- Avoid copy-paste with hidden spaces.
- Check IFSC and account number where bank details are used.
- Use only payment information you are authorised to use.
Finish verification before transacting
A payment change may be pending until OTP, identity or account review is complete. Do not assume a saved-looking field is active until the status confirms it.
- Complete the requested OTP on your own device.
- Wait for any account review.
- Do not submit several different destinations while one change is pending.
Test the status, not your luck
When the new method is active, use the interface to verify it before a major transaction. If the status or account-holder information looks wrong, stop and contact support.
- Keep the confirmation for a successful change.
- Check recent account activity for unauthorised edits.
- Report an unfamiliar payout detail immediately.
